On this web site you will find information on the rural psychiatry project and the initiatives being undertaken by the project in N.S.W. The NSW Branch Rural Psychiatry Project is a joint initiative between the NSW Department of Health and the NSW Branch of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. The overall aim of the project is to promote the development of a skilled rural mental health workforce and aims to support psychiatrists and psychiatry training in rural NSW through the implementation of a multifaceted approach to developing the rural psychiatry workforce.
